CBEC has already recommended 4600 and 4800 gpays for DOS and AOs respectively.

In this restructuring proposal, there are new posts created in Central Excise at Commissioner and Steno Level.

Since the scales of 4600 and 4800 for DOS and AO, already an accepted one at Department level by CBEC, should be placed in the proposal for acceptance to DOE.
