Halla Bol - Twitter campaign on 28-09-2020!





















Comrades! 

The date 28-09-2015 marks a black day for the Tax Assistants of the GST & Customs department all over the country. It was on this day 5 years ago that Tax Assistants, an integral cadre of the Ministerial community, got a rude jolt as their dreams and aspirations of getting promotions were crashed suddenly. The EA Recruitment Rules, which extended the qualifying service for promotion to the grade of Executive Assistant to 10 years, has impacted the lives of Tax Assistants every single day thereon. 

Hopes crashed, dreams shattered, the TAs are highly demotivated and there is no will to work in the department when there is no professional increment to succeed and earn better in life. 

With this in mind, the all India body of the Ministerial Association has been trying day in and out to reach out to the higher officers sitting at Board level in New Delhi to improve the promotional aspects of the Tax Assistants (among other issues). 

One such exercise has been the relentless campaign on Twitter to tag and tweet the important persons and inform them about our grievances and make our voices heard. 

As we are marking 5 years of the introduction of this pathetic RR on 28-09-2020 this zonal association unit has made a new Twitter handle - @karnataka_min (Ministerial Association Karnataka). This Twitter handle shall be the mouthpiece of this association's various activities and discussions held from time to time, and shall voice its demands to the concerned individuals on a regular basis. Very good initiative by the new team. TAs are as intelligent as inspectors. There is difference of only a few marks only. Therefore, previous RR were perfectly drafted.I hope Halla Bol will convey your voice to the authorities. Twitter compaign is a good initiative. All the TAs and their families and friends should be encouraged to participate in the Twitter compaign. Along with Twitter compaign, express your feelings by planting trees, cleaning public places near your office or any initiative to make India a better place to live in. A compaign with a twist will be noticed by media and the administration.
