PROMOTION ORDERS ISSUED

Bangalore, the 15th September, 2011.


The orders for promotion from the grade of STA to Inspectors have been finally been issued. A total of STAs have been promoted as Inspectors and are retained in their current places of posting, except in a few case, until the forthcoming AGT.

On behalf of the entire Ministerial cadre, I congratulate and convey the best wishes to all the Officers who have been promoted. Consequent to the above said promotions and transfer of the officers currently posted in Customs who have been promoted as Inspectors, orders of transfers and postings to Customs Commissionerate have also been issued. Comrades!  The date 28-09-2015 marks a black day for the Tax Assistants of the GST & Customs department all over the country. It was on this day 5 years ago that Tax Assistants, an integral cadre of the Ministerial community, got a rude jolt as their dreams and aspirations of getting promotions were crashed suddenly.
