MINUTES OF JCM MEETING HELD ON 15.09.2010

 Dear members,

The copy of the minutes of the JCM meeting of the regional council held on 15.09.2010, is placed below for information of the members. The Association is raising issues that are brought to its notice from time to time. Therefore, the members are requested to kindly bring to the notice of the Office bearers, the issues affecting the cadre that require the attention/ intervention of the Association, so that the same can be taken up for redressal.

Further for the information pertaining to the cadre restructuring and the Anomaly in Grade Pay of DOS inspector are being updated on the All India Association's blog (www.aiccemof.blogspot.com) from time to time. The members may kindly visit the said blog for further information relating to the cadre.

Comrades!  The date 28-09-2015 marks a black day for the Tax Assistants of the GST & Customs department all over the country. It was on this day 5 years ago that Tax Assistants, an integral cadre of the Ministerial community, got a rude jolt as their dreams and aspirations of getting promotions were crashed suddenly. The EA Recruitment Rules, which extended the qualifying service for promotion to the grade of Executive Assistant to 10 years, has impacted the lives of Tax Assistants every single day thereon.  Hopes crashed, dreams shattered, the TAs are highly demotivated and there is no will to work in the department when there is no professional increment to succeed and earn better in life.  With this in mind, the all India body of the Ministerial Association has been trying day in and out to reach out to the higher officers sitting at Board level in New Delhi to improve the promotional aspects of the Tax Assistants (among other issues).  One such exercise h...
