SUGGESTIONS ON LONG TERM HUMAN RESOURCE PLAN FOR CBEC

Bangalore , the 7th October, 2010
Dear Members,

The DG, HRD has proposed to formulate a Long Term Human Resource Plan for the Department/CBEC as discussed and decided in the Chief Commissioners' Conference held during 15-16th June, 2010. It has been stated that the said plan will be formulated after consultation with the respective recognised Associations and the Chief Commissioners. Accordingly the Chief Commissioner's Office has forwarded a copy of the said letter seeking our views and suggestions for the same.

 As all of you are aware that we are at the crossroads as regards the cadre review of the department is concerned as it is not yet known what is in store for us in the near future. Hence, I see this is an opportunity for all of us to give some fruitful suggestions. In view of this I would urge all the members to kindly send their views and suggestions keeping in mind the long term interests and requirements for betterment of the cadre.

Dear Sir,
firstly let me congratulate to Thomas Mony sir for his excellent work for the ministerial association. this is the first time someone has taken a great responsibilty towards his comrades. now our voice is reaching to the right authority for our beneficial. Ex-servicemen those who are selected for the cbec department have been posted to different cadre which is almost 2000-2500 kms away from their native place.at this age it is very difficult for an ex servicemen who has already served 20 years or so in defence all over the India to settle his family at a place where his native place is and serve somewhere which is far away from his home . so therefore it is requested that ICT for ex-service men should be open.

further TAX ASST should be place in GP-2800 as Auditor in CAG placed in same GP-2800 facing same examination ,qualification and Job.

Comrades!  The date 28-09-2015 marks a black day for the Tax Assistants of the GST & Customs department all over the country. It was on this day 5 years ago that Tax Assistants, an integral cadre of the Ministerial community, got a rude jolt as their dreams and aspirations of getting promotions were crashed suddenly.
